HDD's right Rightsensible :D

TV's very first band in the early 70's were called Slabby Witness. There first real gig was at Belstone Village Hall in Devon.

His second band Sleaze made one short self titled album for their mates to buy. Their were only 50 copies pressed and I don't know anyone but TV who has even geard it never mind own it. TV doesn't rate it. Sleaze were based in Torquay in the mid 70's. He was later kicked out of Sleaze because TV wouldn't sing covers and the rest of the band wanted to play Free and Hendrix.

The excellent Explorers album is available from Ozit. It is packed full of awesome songs. Buy it today :D

To purhase Cheaps album RIP Everything Must Go you'll have to try E Bay etc.

The best place to find out the story of TV Smith is to read the Wake Up Interview by Dave T (see LINKS  WAKE UP) or purchase Dave Thompsons TV Times (TV Smith 80's fanzine) CD (see News). There is a lot more info about is first two bands in the TV Times.

Looks like I was too late Teev.

If you can't find this in the UK, either get it from the record company (as I did - email them) or American Amazon (probably easiest), etc.
