« on: March 30, 2003, 12:09:09 PM »
hey this is nothing to do with anyhting its just like as poll really, whats your top five favourite tracks of all time,im finding it hard to think of any i like so much you know? be honest and lets see how our musical tastes vary ,if they do,this should be fun.      ill try and list them as i feel at the mo itll probably change tommorrow,  1 god save the queen, sex pistols(i think this was the first punk record i bought) i also haye the inbreds,2 do they owe us a living, crass(genuine punk band who i still deeply admire)3,one chord wonders, the adverts,4chinese rocks ,johhny thunders,5 public image ltd, death disco. this will probably differ tommorow but,i do like these tracks a lot they bring back some wonderfull memories of when i was a spotty angry messy little twat (im still the same but less acne)and i use deoderant a bit more.       i loved xray spex too!  and debbie harry ,not for her music i stained a few nylon sheets in her honour once upon a time.
ts not the end but,the BEGINNING.

Yeah, you're right, these could be different tomorrow.
To make this TV related, I'll list my current 5 favorite TV Smith songs first (in no particular order):
Not in my name, Only One Flavour, March of the giants, Tomahawk Cruise, The Future Used To Be Better

All time Top 5
The Damned - Love Song
The Cure - Just like heaven
Killing Joke - Love like blood
The Stranglers - No More Heroes
The Clash - Spanish bombs

Oh, well, this was difficult, I could do some different top 5's in the next minutes...
Just around the corner and miles away...

Impossible, &, as with eveyone, this is subject to change within seconds of me finishing this post, but today I've been listening to;

Ain't No Room - The Vines (love that guiter sound!)
Gun Control Solutions - Rachel Arieff (A kinda latter day Lena Lovich)
White Man in Hammersmith Palais - The Clash (dusted off after Joe's death)
Lord's Prayer - TV with DTH
Rape Me - Nirvana

Oh & I caught a couple of tracks of the new White Stripes (not be confused with Red Stripe) yesterday in town and it was pretty impressive..

Tomorrow I'll probably be back to some of my old stuff...

Top 5 tracks?  Not an easy one.  Here they are and I think they are in the right order.
1.  Do Anything You Wanna Do - Eddie & the Hot Rods.
2.  Up Against The Wall - Tom Robinson.
3.  No Time To Be 21 - The Adverts.
4.  Alternative Ulster - Stiff Little Fingers.
5.  Children of the Revolution - T.Rex.
Just outside the top 5 were Life on Mars by Bowie and Another Girl Another Planet by The Only Ones.
