Good choice. Good actor.

I've seen some naysayers making comments already.

But the fact that Missy has been in it for the last three seasons should have been a HUGE hint at the new direction. It was bloody obvious wasn't it?

As to the actual show I'll wait 'til I see what the writing and content is like before commenting on that.

Anyway there's been 13 doctors already- I always thought there were no more regenerations after that?

You haven't been paying attention have you.

Didn't realise they were Hammer films- the great Peter Cushing did 2 and they were very enjoyable.
Funny how no list of Dr.s ever include John Hurt!
