Just say "yes", you know it makes (no) sense!  :P

Btw, so far I couldn't find any of the pics someone wanted to share via TV's FB!

But here's one from Maidstone:

TJ said that last year I told him to get back on the forum; he's still thinking about it.

Perhaps he should make a list of "things to do"?
Last I heard he was mentioning to Jock (remember him?) that he was about to be taking a break from FB...

Fun?

Fun?!

Sounds like abuse to me.

We demand dignity for the Maidstone One!*

He gave at least as good as he got, you'll be less than surprised to hear!  :)

Went to "The Mayday Festival Of Solidarity" in Barnsley last Sunday. It was 2 day job but unfortunately, some of us workers have to work on a Saturday! My main reason was obviously to see "our guy" but there was a good mix of music and politics with a bit of poetry thrown in for good measure. TV's set was disappointingly short (see below), in fact "Chip" Hamer's introduction for Tim was only marginally shorter! How, when one band who should have been on before TV didn't show could they over run so that Mr Smith's set was cut down by about a third?

No Control
We Stand Alone
Only One Flavour
No Time To Be 21
Keys To The World
Replay
I Delete
The Lion & The Lamb
Gary Gilmore's Eyes
Bored Teenagers
One Chord

Must be some kind of record though - a standard gig with over 25% unreleased songs!

Just managed to get a ticket for TV supporting The Vapors in Brum in July. Not sure why they took so long to put them on sale.

Reading 7th June

Saw TV before the gig and was told that there would be a surprise in store...

Flavour, 21, Control, Gen, Overdose, Good Times (With Leigh Heggerty), Tom Cruise, Lion, Expensive, GGE, BT, OCW.   Leigh played on the last 6 too.

The Skids were suberb too and Charlie his usual self, doing Sub's songs solo.

So the "surprise" was Mr H.   Well kind of... I had been drinking with him in the nearby Weatherspoons before hand....   Oh and he (Leigh that is) broke his guitar on Lion... So put that in the memory... It may become a quiz question one day....

Alan Grundy, Steve The Fish, Tiggy 66 in the audience.

Thanx for review & setlist!

He broke a string or the whole guitar (neck)?  ???
As you say he played on the following tracks, it can't have been that bad, eh?  :-\

It was between the bottom string and the round thingy. They just played in a different style to get around it....

I couldn't make it last night.  :(

Seeing DTH had to cancel some shows, Vom has "a few days off" and will join TV again tonight at the aptly named "Whatever Happens Festival"!
