Brenchley on Friday afternoon!
Me and Mrs. S will be in attendance
So we were.
Brenchley. Odd place to view TV. British countryside pub, miles from anywhere and at, of all things, a Real Ale festival. A nice pub with extensive gardens where a wooden pagoda served as the stage. There were covered and uncovered tables. Looking at the gathering clouds we, sensibly as it turned out, took position at the closest covered one to the stage. PA was either dreadful or off: no other setting. Still...seen Tim in worse circumstances before and, of course, minor setbacks like these were never going to deter Our Man. So...with ironic tongue firmly in cheek, off we went:

...and off to a smattering of applause from about 12 people who were actually interested and virtually nothing from some, frankly, baffled onlookers. Their loss, our gain.
Got talking to a guy and his daughter who'd never seen TV before but, as it turned out, was a fan. He was from Erith via Bulgaria and his name was Petko. Nice person, so was his daughter.
1hr 55 mins I reckon.
Nobody present could say they were undersold
