Missed a chance for a gag there - he should have played "No Hop Street" at a beer festival!

Many thanks for the review - shocked Tim played "The Drink" at a beer festival!

If TJ was here (anyone remember TJ?), he would point out the long heritage Tim has of playing at beer festivals and piss-ups in breweries!

I'm well aware of the Elland Brewery Earthbound gig. What struck me as being unusual was that a beer festival gig was arranged by someone without the slightest idea that some of those in attendance wouldn't have a clue who the bloke singing was!

At least with the Elland Brewery gig, everyone who was there was under no illusion whatsoever who the geezer with the guitar and vox was. They hadn't just turned up to a warm-water freaks meeting, only to find a kindly but spindly bloke randomly shouting punk rock at them!  ;)

Where's your coat?!

Hopefully, a friend will have put it on the first stagecoach out of town, followed swiftly by it's wearer, ahead of the stink of the terrible joke issued before it...

Pee-you!!  ;)

Several early "Earthbounds" featured TV's appearances at either Beer Festivals or the Elland Brewery - or took place in close proximity to pubs holding beer festivals. I blame TJ!

And of course the last UK one was at The Hope in Carshalton organised by Fleagle (remember him!)

Bit of a special one at the Dog & Partridge in Marchington on Sunday.
I'd not been able to do all three of the gigs last weekend (unlike last year) but this one certainly made up for it. TV played this venue again as he did last year as his "wind down" after the Punk Uttoxeter festival. It's a small pub in a little village just outside Uttoxeter that has regular "Sunday Sessions" and a mini-bus of (I  guess) locals from the festival as well as some of the organisers had made the trip as well as some of the pub's customers.
We were treated to a (close to) 2 hour set with 11 of the tracks from the new album! The only one missing being "Written Out" although there was a rare outing for "Straight & Narrow" as well as the more usual suspects.
Here's hoping for all twelve at the album launch next week!

Couldn't make the Unicorn gig last night  :(

My vertigo, which seems to be connected to the (hopefully) temporary deafness I'm experiencing in my left ear, makes me fall over rather too easily: not good when travelling.

Bugger!  >:(

Luckily, the venue is a short bus ride from where I live.

The Unicorn is a great venue....although beer at nearly 6 a pint may explain why it is free entry.

Several bands on before TV, who was then on for about 50 minutes.

Set list:

Only One Flavour
21
Bored Teenagers
Keys To the World
No Control
We Stand Alone
Green Zone
No Hope Street
Land Of the Overdose
Lion and the Lamb
Expensive Being Poor
Lord's Prayer [last 3 songs accompanied by Paul Romney Angel]
Gary Glimore
1 Chord Wonders

On the final 2 songs, he was accompanied by one of the bands (possibly the Healthy Junkies, but I wouldn't swear by it), which gave 1CW in particular something of a hard rock tinge. It needed 2 attempts at 1CW as TV had to berate the guitarist for playing too slowly on the first go.

TV then left the stage and the band stayed on to play their set.

Bought the new CD - looking forward to hearing it today.

My next TV gig will be a little more than a short bus journey, as it will be in Tampere, Finland on the 22nd.

I also couldn't make it 'cause of transport problems. :(
