Ok then my fellow forumites, this one is for you and I have put it in "news" although it also covers "Gigs & Songs".
Basically you can blame both Tim and TJ (remember him?) oh yes and a few pints of York's finest ales, but I digress...
At the aforesaid gig in York recently, I was asked if I knew how many songs TV had played for us over his career and so.. pen in hand (well pencil actually), I have worked my way through the setlists published on the site extracting all the songs.
And so dear bretheren and holy collective, it leads to a quiz.
So, now this is based purely on the setlists published on the forum up to the end of 2017 and, unfortunately there are several missing (234 to be precise), there are a couple of errors in the listings, like duplicate listing of songs or "partial lists", so before anyone gets too pedantic..
Ok here we go.
1) What are the top 3 songs that TV has played?
Ok, so that's a easy one.. they get harder..
2) How many countries has TV played in?
3) How many gigs has TV played?
4) How many songs has TV sung? This does not include "soundchecks" as they are not listed (see I am covering all possible arguments!)
5) There are 8 "covers" on the list, I could be nasty and ask you to name them. oh sod-it.. name them?
6) There are 2 songs listed, but they are neither songs nor "spoken word" (so 1 is not Punk Rock Poem) any idea?
7) How may different TV songs are listed?
Ok then, lets see how you get on, there are of course no prizes (apart from a worn out pencil, but that's another story)
Astounded by the enormous response the answers are
1) Gilmore, Teenagers, OCW.
2) 32 countries
3) 2,014 Gigs
4) 37,674
5) Power In The Darkness, 2-4-6-8, Iron Man Of Rap, Baby Baby Baby, Identity, Doing what God put me here for, Mighty Sword Of Justice, Outsider Artist.
6) We Stabd Akibe & 2nd Encore
Sorry you thought I was too difficult.. Dont worry I wont bother again.
