Ha, I remember Klaus promising me a recording of the gig in Asbach (in Pamp's local pub) back in September 2000. It "only" took him until early 2003 to send it to me! Now that was a pleasant surprise back then, as you can imagine!  :D

Guess who transfered it onto CD back in 2003  ;D

We have such a big Archive of Recordings, if TV ever gets famous as Robbie Williams and the Spice Girls we could sell everything, or bring it on Spotify! We gonna get Rich and Immortal ;D

We could write a Song about "Klaus have the Setlist"  ;D

Btw. The Channel 5 have Anniversary, you Remember Earthbound 2005 where TV played mostly everything from the Channel 5 (except for Dominator, Fire in the Darkness, Cracking Up and Beautiful Bomb) and some where Like "oh please no more Channel 5 Songs? Fun Gig

Oh, that was you? THANK YOU for this!!!  8) Without you I'd probably still be waiting. That was a good gig with a great setlist (incl. many songs which later were to be heard on the NABD album). I even made myself a tape of it, I listened to it in the car for many years!!

Indeed, I remember it well. Our dear late "Mr C5" was SO happy! (I was quite surprised to hear so many songs from it.)
Sometime during the set a little handwritten note was passed on to TV through the crowd, saying "please no more Channel 5 songs". Naming no names... oh alright, it was forum user "Lari77" who wrote that!!  ;D (Anyone remember her?)

I think this was my first EB, I managed to go to 2 more in Essen ("Anyway") in 2006 and 2007, after that it was too far or unfortunate timing for me... (until the one in Augsburg).

2013 Earthbound in Augsburg gigs have now been updated, thank to Klaus (remember him?) sending me a copy of his recording.

"A Step Back" was indeed debuted and "trivia" notes have been amended.

3 more 1978 gigs have turned up on FB.  No set-lists though.  1 of the gigs shows a different venue from the one on the archives..  have asked the "poster" to confirm.

Regarding the erroneous venue. The "poster" did have it wrong and the set-list is correct..

Thanks Phil - every little helps as the old advert used to say. (When I say "old advert" I DON'T mean any member of the band!)

Seriously, this is a useful resource for people interested in tracking down when they saw TV live in the past. I think we all get more nostalgic as we get older, probably as we have more to be nostalgic about. Well, that and the fact that most of our lives are now behind us!

On that happy note...
TV SM!TH - for the beer and the company! (AND great songs too!)

Wow, you really know how to end the weekend on a happy note.  ::)

I'll be 50 this year (if I can make it that far) and find myself listening to "New York" by Lou Reed or the Cure's "Disintegration", both released when I was 20 yrs old.

Buuut, I'm still looking forward to the next TV gig (probably in May), that's an important thing for me!  :D
