Those of us who managed to get here early were treated to a glorious thirty minutes that included newer solo material such as the compelling `No Control`, anthemic `Lion And The Lamb` and thoughtful `Land Of The Overdose` along with a nod to the past with The Adverts classics such as `No Time To Be 21`, `Bored Teenagers`, debut single `One Chord Wonders` and the chart hit `Gary Gilmore`s Eyes`
Just around the corner and miles away...

Talking to my relatives in the NHS, I fear that this may be a lot further away than the optimistic three months people seem to think will be required. I hope not, but the UK figures are seriously underrepresenting the real situation due to lack of testing.

At least I hope that the published figures are wildly inaccurate. If they are correct, coronavirus is killing ~5% of the people contracting it in the UK (22/3/20: 281 deaths/5,683 cases = 4.94%. Figures from https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public). To put that into perspective, seasonal flu typically kills ~0.1% of those that contract it, although for some strains that figure can rise to ~2%.

Take care and stay safe everyone.
