Getting my first vaccine dose this afternoon has cheered me up! Roll on the 26th April when I get my second dose and can then hopefully start planning to venture out of 'house arrest'...

Congrats Fred,  bit of time before I get mine, but I am in the "vulnerable over 60's" category.  At least we have only a 5 minute walk to the sea.

Thanks Phil. When I've had my second dose and can start going out again, one of the first things I want to do is put the dogs in the car and head for the Norfolk coast! I wish that only took five minutes, but with stops for 'dog walks', its over three hours, but still well worth it.

What do you mean I've been stuck indoors too long and should get a grip on myself?!

Excellent so-bad-it's-good joke received from one of my sisters:

Justice has been served!

There's been some scumbag called Callum, known as Cal, going round breaking into people's houses around here for months, but the police haven't been able to catch him. The weirdest thing about it all, is he was breaking into people's houses and ruining their washing machines by putting bricks in them and turning them on, while helping himself to whatever he wanted! Really weird if you ask me...

Anyway, just read that he was found dead in an alley because of a drug overdose.

It's never nice hearing of someone's death, but on the bright side, washing machines live longer with Cal gone!

Xa gets her jab on Thursday and I'm booked in on 6th March.

Then all three of us will have had the first one.

If we can all get our second jabs by June or July then Skeggy in October looks like it's on.
