Not at all sure about the staccato 'singing' in the verses and some of the guitar work, but I like the energy in the choruses.

Not a patch on the original and far less convincing than "Young Savage".

The album, as a whole. is excellent despite being covers and re-recordings.

I don't listen on streaming sites.
I still buy CDs and vinyl.
Digital is a last resort.
And where possible I buy direct from the artist or from their Bandcamp page.

But I still watch videos on YouTube or Vimeo.

The song was also the influence for the movie 'The Hitcher' and Rutger Hauer's character (John Ryder) who makes his first appearance hitch-hiking in a storm.

The next event event still have a booking for is Skegness at the beginning of October.
But if the same problems that have caused the cancellation of Rebellion don't get sorted soon I expect that will be postponed as well.
Again.

Whether you believe the pandemic is over or you're waiting for the Third Wave to hit it's the same difference.

The Government Road Map is taking us down B roads and country lanes and we keep getting stuck behind a tractor. ;)

Les Mckeown, 65. I hated the Rollers back in the day but The Ramones were fans so they can't have been that bad.  Some of their stuff sounds great compared to the crap that's around today.

Rat Scabies was also a fan. And Nick Lowe.

Mike Mitchell, guitarist on The Kingsmen’s famous and influential version of Richard Berry's 'Louie Louie', has died aged 77.

First released track from 'Get In Where You Fit In' is 'Never Forget Redemption' and to my ears it's like Alabama 3.
Which I like.

I was surprised to hear that Prince Philip died in the Queen's Arms. I thought that the pubs didn't open again until Monday.

I'm stealing that.
