After the "Useless" DTH version, the Cheap versions (incl. remastered & live) and various live versions plus the demo version (released on "Lucky Us"), I gotta admit I do not miss "Lords Prayer" at all on this album!  :o

This album sounds just great, TV and his guitar, performing a "best of" kind of collection of songs. Can't imagine it being any better (at least at this moment in time)!  :D

Interview? Must've missed that. Or did you mean "review"?  ???

Still loving listening to AV1.

Me and C5 used to have lots of TV fun on the forum playing games and making lists, so here's one for Backstage Dave...

What title would you give to Acoustic Volume 1?

I'll give you a clue to my nickname for the album. Like Missinformation Overload and Sparkle In The Mud it's from a line in a TV Smith song. My nickname title is from a song on AV1.

Just for fun kiddies.

"Walk Away" (hm, maybe not the ideal title, as we don't want potential buyers to do just that...)  ;)

Just in case you think I've forgotten, my own personal chosen song title for Acoustic Volume 1 is The Light on The Horizon.

Who is?

TV Smith is.

Lean towards the light TUTS.  8)

Great album. Good one to give to people who don't know about TV.

Well I did just that. An old mate of mine was ill and couldn't do much but watching telly or reading (both of which he didn't want to do all day), so I gave him a few cd's to listen to, incl. this one! He knew a bit about TV of course (from me, of course), but didn't know many songs. He was very impressed by the "Acoustic Sessions Vol. 1"!  8)

Yeah, it's a real good choice of songs! And the acoustic way they are performed is 100% TV of course.  8)
I am currently very happy with this one plus the new album!  :)

An email friend from Western Australia got herself this album (after I recommended it as a good starting point) and she enjoys it. Now I got a new email saying:

"TV Smith's acoustic is excellent for setting things on fire to. "  ;D

To give you some context, here's more info:

Quote
In our case we have dried reeds to burn at certain times of year so they're not a summer fire hazard.
Also I gave up on my weed-infested frog pond after three years of trying to weed it after it was left unattended for weeks after I broke my foot. The invasive grass had roots a metre down and kept coming back so I finally sprayed it all out, which means I killed a lot of the bushes around there too but it's actually easier to start again from scratch with plants that are harder for grass to grow into. So a month after poisoning the grass and on a dry day, I burnt the lot. Some of my bushes will re-grow from the base, but I've got other plants to put in the place of things that have been "collateral damage"...
