Like doing updates of setlists for the TV Smith website, for example?  ;)

Note from 13 year old self: The singer looks really scowly and miserable on the back cover. Don't think I'd like to meet him!

Note to 15 yr old self:

Nick this lp from your brother.  He will, in just a few years time, allow his children to destroy it.

Your theft will be appreciated forever.

So, if I've got this straight:

You 'permanently borrowed' this and thus enabled it to escape some niece/nephew delivered 'cull' of your brother's record collection?

Sadly, no.

My bro and I, having similar taste in music, would take it in turn to buy whatever caught our fancy. He bought CTRSWTA.

When I  moved out of our flat (as he had gotten married with a sprog on the way) we decided that it would be fairest that I only took with me what I'd actually bought...which left the aforementioned valuable vinyl at the mercy of my brother's kids.

They systematically destroyed his entire collection.

Luckily, I bought the singles, which I still have.

Nope.

Spiral Scratch? Gone. Never Mind The Bollocks? Likewise. Damned Don't Cry Wolf on pink vinyl? Disappeared. Rattus & No More Heroes? No more.

I could go on, but it just makes ya sadder.

I asked him how he allowed it to happen. To be fair, he did have a bit of a point when he said he didn't think he'd live much past 30 and certainly didn't think such records would be treasured in the future, so kind of let his kids get away with vinyl genocide.

Meh.

For me that was going to York in 2018, having 4 or 5 too many..  then taking up the challenge from Mr T.V. Smith (who I blame totally!!!!).   I must say though it is enjoyable. (I know I'm weird!!).

Well the Singles have way more Value as the Album itself  :P

Not even to speak about the Cast of Thousands singles. They still sold "a lot" compared to Later TV Smith stuff, but seems quite rare today. Try to get a Comming Round Single today  ;D
